PhoneFarm is a static website. Once the page has loaded, everything happens in your browser tab:
- Phone screens, touches, files, APKs, text and commands travel directly between your browser and your phones over USB. They are never sent to our server.
- Your settings — phone numbers, names, groups, ADB commands, recorded actions, scripts and imported ADB keys — are saved in your browser’s local storage. Clearing site data removes them. Use Settings → Export backup to keep a copy.
- No account, no cookies, no advertising trackers.
- Visit statistics. To see how the site is used, each page view sends a small record to our own server: the page, the referring site, your IP address and approximate location (country and city, looked up from the IP), browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and time zone, plus a random ID kept in your browser so repeat visits are counted once. In the app we also count how many phones are connected (just the number). Nothing about your phones’ screens, files or text is included. The records are kept on our server for up to 12 months and are not shared or sold.
- Our web host also keeps standard server logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security and abuse prevention, as any website does.
